About Ashia

Ashia Y. McReynolds is a dually Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC). She is a State Approved MFT Supervisor and Clinical Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor Supervisor. She has worked in multiple treatment settings such as private practice, universities, religion-based, group homes, and community agencies. 

In 2016, she established Clarity Wellness Center as a resource to provide affordable mental health care treatment to her local community. As a Clinical Academic Therapist, Mrs. McReynolds provides integrated evidenced-based research, trauma-informed care, and systemic foundational theories to provide care for individuals, couples, and families. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), a Clinical Certified Trauma Specialist (CCST), trained in Gottman Level 1,  and a Facilitator for Prepare and Enriched.

McReynolds is an advocate for the profession.  She holds a Clinical Fellowship membership with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).  She currently serves as the Co-Chair for AAMFT Family Teams Nevada and helped with the successful passing of Nevada 2019 – SB37.  Academically, she has completed coursework in various disciplines with a Bachelor of Arts from Regis University, a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Lincoln Christian University and is a Marriage and Family Therapist Doctoral Candidate with a specialization in military families at Northcentral University.
